Eileen M. Travis is a fiber artist that loves to create work inspired by nature in yarn and other fibers. At a young age, she was lucky to have both grandmothers teach her how to crochet as well as other needle arts, which nourished a lifelong love of fiber arts. Eileen is an avid gardener and Landscape Architect, based in
Northampton, MA and her art is inspired by the beauty of the natural environment. So it was logical that any artwork that she creates reflects these passions. Eileen likes to create large scale projects that are interactive, bring joy and inspiration. Eileen graduated with a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from SUNY
Environmental Science and Forestry School (ESF) in Syracuse NY.
