More about Diane
Diane Travis is a sculptor / installation artist with a BFA in Art Education from UMASS at Amherst and an MFA in Sculpture from the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University.
Her work is often composed from the detritus of life, found cast off materials such as found flags, old linens, towels, old toys and worn clothing. Diane frequently hand sews and embellishes pieces with fabric and images. Her work is thematic in nature as she works to create an immersive environment through her installations.
