I studied painting at Amherst College, with Robert Sweeney, and at the New York Studio School for several years, in addition to attending summer programs at Yale/Norfolk, and Queens/Caumsett. During the ten years that I lived in NYC, I studied informally with Lennart Anderson among others. I have exhibited my work in numerous solo and group shows over the last thirty odd years. Paintings of mine were included in the 1990 and 1994 annual juried exhibitions of The National Academy of Design in New York City, and at other juried shows throughout NYC, and elsewhere. I have had several one person shows at Blue Mountain Gallery, in NYC, and more recently, at the Oxbow Gallery, in Northampton MA. I currently live and keep my studio on a farm in Cummington MA.
